This Lunar New Year, we partnered with fellow upcycler Unfinished Project  , based in Hilo to shine a light on the beauty of reworking. Together, we’ve taken vintage obis from Kyoto and reimagined them in a modern context. Both pieces honor tradition while bringing it into the present—highlighting how sustainable design can tell deeply personal stories.

This corset bridges the past and present, mixing the elegance of traditional Japanese craftsmanship with the modern sensibility of For. It’s made to be layered over clothing, transforming any outfit into something extraordinary while celebrating its roots.
